In April 2025, Russell Sage College Athletics announced the promotion of Taylor Gillespie '22 (Cobleskill, N.Y.) to its Head Women's Tennis Coach.
Gillespie, who played for the Gators from 2019-2021, has served as the program's assistant coach since graduation. She helped RSC achieve one of its most successful seasons in 2024. The Gators tallied eight victories, including a program-record five Empire 8 Conference wins, and reached the semifinals of the E8 Championship Tournament.
"I'm incredibly honored to step into the role of Head Women's Tennis Coach at Russell Sage College," said Gillespie at the time of her promotion. "As a former player and assistant coach for this program, this opportunity means so much to me. I'm excited to continue building a strong, competitive, and supportive environment for our student-athletes, on and off the court. I look forward to leading this team into a new chapter of growth and success."
